UPDATE: The Walking Dead Season 2 Casting News? Charlie Sheen Cameo in the Works?

Now that the dead are ruling the world, it seems as if everybody wants a shot at joining their shambling ranks. Case in point – Charlie Sheen! Will we be seeing the “Two and a Half Men” star go flesh-hungry? Maybe so!
According to the website Socyberty (and completely unconfirmed as of yet):
“Representatives for actor Charlie Sheen confirmed he will in fact be playing a zombie in one of the earlier episodes of season two of the wildly successful AMC series The Walking Dead. Sheen apparently told his publicist what a fan he was of the show recently, and the publicist, who also represents Walking Dead actor Jeffrey DeMunn, contacted one of the show’s producers and inquired if they were interested in allowing Sheen to be an extra on the film, playing the part of a zombie. The producer, himself a big fan of Sheen’s show Two and a Half Men, said “Absolutely!”
Upon hearing the news, Sheen was reportedly ecstatic and has already cleared the shooting schedule with his Two and a Half Men duties. Sheen’s involvement may very well lead to others in the acting community making brief cameos as zombies.”
That site also credits Andrew Lincoln as “Walking Dead creator” so take that for what its worth. *shakes head*
Update
According to producer Gale Anne Hurd on Twitter: “For the record, we have NOT cast any zombie cameos for the 2nd season of #TheWalkingDead!”
