It’s about goddamn time!
After waiting what seemed like years for another announcement about when we would finally get to see the director’s cut of From Beyond that was first mentioned many moons ago, it finally aired on Monsters HD last year. Then we had another big, black pit of silence about when MGM would finally get around to putting the DVD out; a silence that has now been broken!
Fangoria has learned that MGM will release the fully uncut, remastered version of From Beyond onto DVD come September 11th, 2007; just in time for Halloween! Features cemented so far only include a Stuart Gordon commentary, but I bet there’ll be a lot more as we get closer to release.
MGM has also confirmed that The Burning will join From Beyond that day, as well the new edition of Return of the Living Dead that’s been rumored off and on for the past year or so. The last disc they were able confirm is Scarecrows which, for now, looks to be a barebones release but that could change at anytime. Keep it here for more as we find it out!
