Sundance 2011: Kevin Smith Confirms Red State Screening

Several days ago Kevin Smith announced that should his latest film be accepted into the Sundance Film Festival he would auction off distribution rights on the spot with the help of an old-school auctioneer. Well … confirmation has come.
During the first episode of the new podcast Plus One which Smith hosts along with his wife, Jennifer Schwalbach, the duo confirmed that Smith’s latest film, Red State, would indeed be playing the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.
For the love of god, please let the auction thing happen. If only for the lunacy of it all!
