Brace yourself for the final episode of the amazing first season of “The Walking Dead”. As reported earlier, we have a long, agonizing wait until next October for Season 2, but until then we have “The Walking Dead” Marathon on AMC to keep us company this Sunday right before the season finale episode.

It’s also worth reminding you that Anchor Bay is distributing “The Walking Dead” on DVD and Blu-ray so you can bet there are going to be tons of special features and assorted gooey goodies.

“The Walking Dead” is based on Robert Kirkman’s popular comic series. It chronicles the months and years following a zombie apocalypse. Frank Darabont is the project’s writer, director of the pilot, and exec producer with Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert also exec producing. KNB will be handling the effects, and Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey DeMunn, IronE Singleton, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Chandler Riggs, Steven Yeun, Michael Rooker, Emma Bell, Adrian Kali Turner, Linds Edwards, Keith Allen Hayes, and Jim Coleman are all set to star.

Rick and the group are allowed into the CDC by a strange doctor. But all is not what it seems in their newfound haven.
