Schmidt Dishes Bad Meat

Name a film something like Dark Happenings and you really don’t know what fans will expect of it. Name your film Bad Meat and you’d better deliver some hardcore porn or a very gory movie.
Thankfully Wrong Turn helmer Rob Schmidt is going the second route with his latest outing, which we first told you about here. Schmidt recently sat down with Shock Till You Drop to lay out some details, just in case you were still looking for porn (sicko).
Right from the get go you won’t be feeling too amorous, I betcha, as Schmidt told the site that Bad Meat will start off with “documentary footage of cattle being pumped up with steroids and antibiotics, penned up in a brutal Cowschwitz,” I’ll let that one sink in a bit… “What follows is one of those ‘scared straight’ type jail diversion programs where we meet some folks we can care about, see them grow, struggle, suffer and die at the hands of steroid and industrial grade antibiotic-addled meat eating human monsters.”
So wait, are they in jail to scare them out of being meat eaters? Cause meat-eating human monsters would turn my ass vegan in a second, that’s for damn sure. The director promises the movie will be brutal and disturbing, which we’ve almost come to expect from him after Wrong Turn and “Right to Die”, and that’s why we love the guy!
