As if coulrophobics don’t have enough to worry about these days what with all the various clown sightings around the country, High Octane Films is bringing us a new clown-based horror movie titled Clowntergeist. Today we have the film’s artwork and trailer to share courtesy of THR.
Directed by Aaron Mirte, the film tells the story of Emma (Brittany Bellard), a college student with a phobia of clowns who is forced to confront that fear when a demonic clown terrorizes her town. The killer clown leaves balloons with the date and time of his victims’ deaths, and after receiving a balloon of her own, Emma learns she has just two days to live before the not-so-jolly clown takes her life.
Clowntergeist co-stars Tom Seidman, Burt Culver, and Eric Corbin. There’s no release date yet, but we should have more info soon.
