Almost Dead Wraps Production; Artwork and Trailer Come to Life

Word of a new horror thriller has come our way, Almost Dead, which recently wrapped production and teases us with the tagline: There is no hope…

Well, we have hope it’ll be a winner, and while we wait to hear some distro news, here are a few more details.

Almost Dead is directed by Giorgio Bruno and produced by Susanna Ferrando, Emanuela Morozzi, and Bruno. Aylin Prandi, Sean James Sutton, and Geo Johnson star.

Synopsis:
A woman in her mid-twenties, Hope, wakes up in a car wreck at the edge of a deserted forest road at night, covered in blood. Next to her, in the driver’s seat, is the corpse of a woman, a gun, and cellphone, low on charge. She does not remember how she got there.

Suddenly, the body next to her wakes up and bites her arm. Hope shoots her dead in the head. From the trunk of the car, a few minutes later, a stranger appears, his hands tied up with a plastic zip line. He does not know how he got there or why he is bound. They are untrusting of each other. As they try to figure out how they have ended up in the car and find a way out, the forest starts to fill with the walking dead. making escape impossible as they surround the car.

Hope uses the cellphone to try to find help but instead comes across the voice of a military man that informs her they have lost control in the fight against a viral outbreak, and the dead seem to be coming back to life. She receives an incoming call from a mysterious woman who claims to be her sister and informs her that in the car there is a serum that can stop the virus in her body before she becomes Almost Dead.
