It’s been a few months since last we spoke about Kristopher Aaron Morgan’s The Home, but wow, have the folks behind it used that time wisely! Some casting news has hit online this morning, and dare we say the line-up is pretty impressive.
According to Bloody Disgusting “Louise Fletcher (Flowers in the Attic, Exorcist II, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest), Louis Gossett Jr. (Enemy Mine, The Invaders, Jaws 3D), Edward Asner (Up, “The Mod Squad,” “The Invaders,” “Mission: Impossible”), and Nicole Flannigan are all signed on to star in Kristoffer Aaron Morgan’s H.P. Lovecraftian The Home, which was penned by both Morgan and AICN writer Eric Vespe. It’s also worth noting that Brian Cox (Red, Rise of the Apes, Trick ‘r Treat) and Cloris Leachman (Young Frankenstein, Lake Placid 2, Scary Movie 2) are both in discussions.”
A young man is nearly killed during a horrible accident that leaves him physically and emotionally scarred. To recuperate, he is taken to a secluded nursing home where the elderly residents appear to be suffering from delusions. But after witnessing a violent attack, he soon realizes that the screams behind the walls are caused by more than hallucinations, and the residents are being preyed upon by twisted, monstrous nightmares that lurk within the home itself.
