Rock and Shock 2010 Coming to Worcester, Mass, This Weekend (Oct. 15-17)

October has already been dizzyingly packed with all manor of geekery and bloody great events up the ying yang, and now, just before the holiest of days (i.e., Halloween), we get to play at ROCK AND SHOCK! It all goes down October 15-17 at the DCU Center and the Palladium in Worcester, MA.
This is THE biggest horror-themed event on the East Coast for the season with excellent horror guests by day including DANNY TREJO, GEORGE ROMERO, ADRIENNE BARBEAU, ALEX WINTER, ADAM GREEN, DOUG BRADLEY, DEE WALLACE STONE, SCOUT TAYLOR-COMPTON, RUGGERO DEODATO, ZOE BELL, JAKE BUSEY, MEG FOSTER, BILL MOSELEY, OGRE (of Skinny Puppy), DANIELLE HARRIS, THE FUCKING HUMAN CENTIPEDE stars and more!! At night we stick close to the DCU for ROB ZOMBIE and ALICE COOPER w/MURDERDOLLS (Saturday only) or head over to the Palladium for national touring acts like GWAR, SUFFOCATION, TWIZTID, INFERNAEON and on and on and on.
Dread Central will be on hand with free swag and contest prizes all day, every day, dished out by yours truly, your Dread Central Overlord Uncle Creepy, The Woman in Black, MattFini, Heather Buckley, and whoever is left standing after we drink. We’ve heard DC alumnus Plagiarize could be making a guest appearance as well.
Our promo partners for this show include Top Cow Comics, Radical Comics, Magnet Releasing, Jakks Pacific, Overture Films, Fear 3, Quirk Books, Activision (presenting Goldeneye), Dimension Films, Viz Media and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment as well as anyone we can pester into submission between now and show time.
