Scout Taylor-Compton and More Join the Getaway Girls

After two brutal tangos with Michael Myers, we’re pretty sure Scout Taylor-Compton can handle anything that’s thrown at her, though she may end up worse for wear in her latest movie.
Deadline is reporting that Getaway Girls, an upcoming indie film, has filled out its cast with Taylor-Compton (pictured; Halloween), Landry Allbright (Feral), Jaclyn Betham (The Haves And Have Nots), Lane Caudell, and Lane Toran (“Hey Arnold”), who is also making his directorial debut.
The thriller follows Tamara Miller as she plans a weekend lake getaway with her two best friends. When Tamara gets kidnapped by a backwoods cult, eerie and unexplained occurrences arise.
Jaclyn Betham, Liz Zwiebel, and Erin Naifeh serve as producers. Betham and Toran penned the script.
