Stop the presses, folks! In an unprecedented move a movie studio is looking to adapt a best selling book series into a possible film franchise! Holy cow! We never thought we’d see the day!
According to Variety the next book up for the big screen adaptation treatment is Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instruments series starting with Book One: “City of Bones”.
Screen Gems will team with Constantin Film and Unique Features on the project which tells the story of a seemingly ordinary teenager who discovers she is the descendant of a demon-hunting clan called Shadowhunters. The film version has been penned by Jessica Postigo. Look for more soon!
