What the fuck did I just watch? Seriously, the proof of concept trailer for Laserpope has left me absolutely lost for words. The Pope becoming a RoboCop-style superhero, complete with a ton of gore being splashed across the screen? Count me in.
The filmmakers are currently trying to turn the Laserpope concept into a feature film and are aiming for a release around Easter or Christmas 2018. And I wish them the best of luck, because wow, that trailer was something.
Right now you’re probably reeling in disgust at America’s decision to elect a childlike monster into the White House, but I guarantee that the four minutes embedded below will at least bring a small smile to your face.
