Hess Denies Deodato Collaboration

Just wanted to clear up a bit of confusion that’s been going on out there in the world weird web, if I may.

David Hess, star of Wes Craven’s Last House on the Left among many others, has been mentioned numerous times as being attached to the new project from Cannibal Holocaust helmer Ruggero Deodato. This all started because of an interview he did a while back (which we told you about here), and his statements about it have taken on a life of their own it seems. So, some rumor control.

Hess contacted us today just to make sure it’s all made clear: He is not signed on for any project Deodato may have in the works or has discussed in the past, including the Cannibal Holocaust “companion piece” the director has been working on.

As of now we have no idea about the status of Deodato’s latest project, but Hess just wanted to make sure it was clear that he’s not involved with it right now. We’ll get you more updates as they come down the wire, so stick around!
