Dexter: Two Sneak Peeks of the Season 5 Premiere; Chats with David Zayas & Lauren Velez

We’re just a few days away from the Season Five premiere of Showtime’s “Dexter”, and the network has offered up two more sneak peeks of the episode along with chats with David Zayas, aka Sgt. Angel Batista, and Lauren Velez, aka Lt. Maria Laguerta.
“In Season Five Dexter has to get in touch with things he never felt before: guilt, sorrow, self-forgiveness. There is blowback from his reckless behavior. He has blood on his hands and an appetite for vengeance that can’t be quenched. ”
Joining regular cast members Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, James Remar, Desmond Harrington, C.S. Lee, Lauren Velez, and David Zayas, along with a briefly returning Julie Benz, will be previously announced Season Five guest stars Julia Stiles, Peter Weller, Chris Vance, Jonny Lee Miller, April Lee Hernandez, Shawn Hatosy, and Maria Doyle Kennedy.
First up is “Never Make a Scene”, in which Dexter watches as Rita is taken away in a body bag.
Next is “A Grieving Spouse”, in which Dexter and Debra visit a funeral home to prepare for Rita’s funeral.
Thirdly, we “Take a Risk” with Zayas as he discusses Batista’s relationship with Dexter and his marriage to Laguerta.
Finally, we see “History Repeating” with Velez as she describes Laguerta’s reaction to Rita’s death and Quinn’s suspicion of Dexter.
