First Look at the City of Dead Men

More crazy in the brain horror is on its way in the new flick City of Dead Men, and right now we have the trailer and poster for you! Dig it!

Deadline is reporting that Gravitas Ventures has landed all North American rights to the psychological horror film, with a release in select theaters and on demand set for December 16. Directed by Kirk Sullivan and written by Andrew Poston, the film already is available for pre-sale on iTunes.

Starring Diego Boneta (“Scream Queens”), Jackson Rathbone (Twilight), and newcomer Maria Mesa, City of Dead Men follows Michael (Boneta), an American tourist recently arrived in Medellin, Colombia, where he discovers he’s run completely out of money. Desperate for a quick fix to the problem, he meets a young Colombian girl (Mesa), who introduces him to a group of misfits and their mysterious leader (Rathbone), who live in an abandoned psychiatric hospital. At first accepting their friendship and shelter, it soon becomes clear something terrible happened in the hospital. The group living there now feel immortal, pulling Michael into a dangerous dynamic that might kill him.

The debut feature for both Sullivan and Poston, City of Dead Men was produced by Arango and Laura Gomez Vargas, with Brad Furman, Aaron Ginsburg, Matt Ruskin, Alex Garcia, James Huntsman, Todd Slater of Blue Fox Entertainment, and Jonathan M. Black executive producing. The acquisition deal was negotiated by Dan Fisher for Gravitas and by Todd Slater on behalf of the filmmakers.
