New Poster, Clip for Perfect Creature

It’s strange, sometimes, how long it can take a film to actually come out. Making it, filming and getting the sound design, effects, etc. done; you’d think that would be the time consuming process. But sometimes seeing the film actually released can take twice as long.
Take Perfect Creature for example. This movie’s been out there in one form or another for at least a year if not longer, and there’s still no solid release date for it in its native New Zealand. However, the folks at Twitch Film were tipped off to a new poster (on your right) and a clip from the film (which you can find on 24 Frames Per Second), so some kind of release must be close.
Perfect Creature stars Dougray Scott (Dark Water) and takes place in an alternate 1960’s New Zealand, known as Nuovo Zelandia. The world is different from ours for one major reason; vampires and humans co-exists peacefully; indeed the vamps are seen as our evolutionary superior. When an influenza epidemic sweeps the human population and an opportunistic vampire starts killing off the weak, its up a dispatch from the church and a human cop to stop the monster.
We’ll keep our eyes out for more release info if/when it comes up. Darclight Films have the US rights to it, with Fox attached as their release partner, so I’m sure we’ll know more soon!
