Sideshow Unveils its Hellraiser Hell Priestess

Published

on

Ever wonder what Pinhead would have been like as a woman? Or even what kind of woman Pinhead would want to… um… pin down for himself? Sideshow Collectibles has come up with their own unique vision.

From the Sideshow Website:
Welcome to Hell!

Clive Barker’s world of Hellraiser introduced us to the Cenobites, and their leader – Pinhead. Now, Sideshow is ready to introduce the world to a new member of the Cenobites – The Hell Priestess Premium Format™ Figure.

Working with the studio that developed the first Hellraiser film, Sideshow’s artists have crafted a new level of terror. The Hell Priestess Premium Format™ Figure sits upon a base that is adorned with a blood pool containing the roiling tortured souls of victims. In direct contrast to the gruesome self-mutilation that the Hell Priestess exhibits, she is seen alighting delicately upon a Lament Configuration box that rests on the surface of the aforementioned pool.

The pins that pierce her flesh are crafted out of metal while the rest of the piece is made up of polystone and fabric elements.

The Sideshow Exclusive Hell Priestess Premium Format™ Figure comes with a metal display plate that features the 2D conceptual art, along with Clive Barker’s printed signature.

The price for this sultry satanic vixen? $449.99 and it looks like it will be shipping in time for Christmas!

Still not enough… you can also nab yourself The Hell Priestess Premium Art Print for just $240.00 – Framed
Custom designer frame or $90.00 unframed.

Sideshow presents The Hell Priestess Premium Art Print, an all-original creation in collaboration with Clive Barker and Seraphim Inc., by Ian MacDonald. Surrounded by instruments of pain and torture, Sister Renee would stop at nothing to show her devotion… until it was too late. Hand-numbered and embossed, each limited edition print will come with a special origin story of the Hell Priestess from the creators.

NECA Announces Ashy Slashy Puppet Replica

Published

on

One of our favorite horror TV shows is Starz’s “Ash vs. Evil Dead,” and one of our favorite moments from the first two seasons is when Ash brings out his “Ashy Slashy” puppet.

If you’re like us and have been wondering when you could get your hands on an Ashy Slashy puppet of your own, today we have good news.

NECA has just announced its prop replica!

You can check out pics of the packaging reveal NECA did over on Facebook below, and then let us know if you’re going to be buying your very own Ash Slashy puppet.

We’ll let you know when the item becomes available for pre-order!

Rundown via NECA:
Every day can be demented play day with your very own Ashy Slashy puppet from Season 2 of Ash vs. Evil Dead! We’ve replicated Ash’s potty-mouthed little doppelganger from the asylum episodes for your (hopefully G-rated) entertainment.

This is a working puppet – insert your hand, and you can move the mouth; plus the arms are poseable thanks to inner articulation.

Ashy Slashy is approximately 15” tall.

Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and the Xenomorph Getting Their Own 8-Bit Pop Vinyls

Published

on

Funko has released some delightful horror-themed products over the years, but this just takes the cake. They’ve announced a new line of 8-bit Pop Vinyl figures, which will feature pixelated versions of Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and the Xenomorph. I never thought I’d say it, but even Freddy Krueger looks cute.

Freddy and Jason will both come in standard editions, in addition to GameStop exclusives based on how they both appeared in their own NES video games. The Xenomorph will also have a Previews exclusive edition depicting it smeared with acid blood. Have a look at the images below to decide which versions you like best. Most of us would probably like to purchase all six!

These adorable (but still horrible) figures will be available in January, so make sure you don’t go bankrupt over Christmas.
