First Horror Title for Microsoft’s Kinect Announced – Rise of Nightmares

As tech hounds, we are intrigued by the Kinect for Xbox 360. Controlling our consoles via voice and facial recognition along with hand gestures just seems damn cool, but the games announced thus far have left us cold. We want to see how this new tech applies to the horror genre, and now, thanks to Sega of America, it looks as if some of that promise will be realized!

SEGA Europe Ltd. and SEGA of America Inc. today announced that Rise of Nightmares will be released globally in 2011 exclusively on Kinect for Xbox 360.
Rise of Nightmares offers a spine-tingling horror experience which uses the innovative new controls of Kinect to give players new encounters filled with fearful anticipation and terror. Using their whole body, players will experience fear and tension as never before in this first person horror adventure.
