Casting Breakdown for John Russo’s Escape of the Living Dead

The name John Russo is a name that lives in infamy as far as Night of the Living Dead fans are concerned. Why you ask? One look at the abomination that was the Night of the Living Dead: 30th Anniversary Edition will clearly answer any questions you may have, but do yourselves a favor … don’t look at it. Don’t ever look at it.
Anyway, the man is back with Escape of the Living Dead which is set to begin filming sometime late October or early November. Russo is handling the writing and the direction and the casting breakdown for this flick is as follows:
[SALLY] 18. Beautiful, athletic, heroic. When confronted with adversity, she rises to every challenge… including wiping out zombie scum. NAME ONLY. LEAD
[HENRY] 40s, doting, concerned father of Sally. He would do anything for his family but is not inherently confrontational. He is faced with the inner turmoil of balancing his paternal instincts with his non-confrontational ways when the zombie plague threatens Sally. STAR NAME ONLY…LEAD
[HONEYBEAR] Mid to late 20s. Biker Chick girlfriend of Neo Nazi leader, Bearcat’s. Going against the grain, she is not some beat-up druggie, but instead is quite a stunner, blonde and beautiful and “Aryan” — and cruel. LEAD. TOPLESS NUDITY REQUIRED
[DR MELROSE] Head of his own research facility, studying the causes, effects and benefits of zombie-ism. STAR NAME ONLY
