Murdered Student Tweets From Beyond the Grave in The Gasp Menagerie

Sometimes technology lends a supernatural twist to events that otherwise would be horrible, but unremarkable.

Such is the case of murdered student Jacqueline Vandagriff here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas, brought to us from the Dallas Observer.

Jacqueline was using Tinder to find possible dates, and somehow came across Charles Bryant.  After tweeting that she was no longer in touch with a man who wasn’t being straight with her on the dating app, she apparently met up with Bryant…and was found dismembered and burned days later.

Police quickly caught up with Bryant and he has been charged with Vandagriff’s murder after much evidence was found on her charred corpse.

Case closed.  Well…

About the time Vandagriff was being autopsied, a new tweet appeared on her Twitter feed.

Jacqueline had been long dead when this was posted, and yet there it is.  A very strange and unexplained coda to a tragic and horrifying story of twisted lust and murder.

Where did this tweet come from?  Was it cached or delayed somehow, written before her death?  Or is it a message from beyond the grave?  Is Jacqueline trying to tell her loved ones that she continues on?
