One game we’ve been keeping a close eye on around here is Namco’s revamp of their deliciously bloody classic, Splatterhouse. To celebrate the return of the game we’ve got a look at a new retro-trailer that mixes the old with the new as well as about three minutes of gameplay B-roll. Start your drooling now, horror gamers!

Synopsis
Confronted by otherworldly horrific abominations under Dr. West’s control, Rick turns to a mystical sentient mask that promises to give him the power to reunite with his beloved Jennifer. Full of desperation, Rick dons the “Mayan Terror Mask” and is transformed into a raging juggernaut, exemplifying unadulterated violence and destruction to anything that stands in his way.
