First Details: Adam Gierasch’s Night of the Demons Playing Screamfest LA!

A great deal of heartbreak came with the news that Adam Gierasch’s Night of the Demons (review here) was going the direct-to-video route. This film looks like too much fun not to see on the big screen. However, if you’re in LA or are planning to attend this year’s Screamfest, this is one wrong that is going to be fixed!

“Adam Gierasch’s highly anticipated remake of NIGHT OF THE DEMONS is set to premiere at this year’s SCREAMFEST in LA. The film will be shown at Grauman’s Mann Chinese 6 Theaters on Saturday night, October 9th.”

Night of the Demons stars Diora Baird, Shannon Elizabeth, Monica Keena, Bobbi Sue Luther, John F. Beach, Michael Copon, Tiffany Shepis, and Edward Furlong.

Angela Feld is throwing the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties at the infamous Broussard Mansion in New Orleans, where dark events transpired almost a century ago. But when the packed party gets busted by the police, Angela and her friends Maddie, Lily, Suzanne, Colin, Dex and Jason are the only ones left behind. Soon Colin and Angela make a grisly discovery in the basement and inexplicable events start to take place. With the mansion gates mysteriously locked, the seven find themselves trapped for the night…and soon they’re fighting ancient demons for their very souls.

The remake opens in the UK on September 17th and hits the U.S. on DVD on October 19th. For more visit the Night of the Demons Facebook page.
