Production Begins on Super 8 Next Month

One film we’re really looking forward to is JJ Abrams’ next alien run amok flick Super 8, but other than the numerous bits of viral material that can be found online and abroad, there really hasn’t been any hard news to speak of or report on. Until now that is.
According to Production Weekly filming is set to begin late September in Weirton, Virginia. Given how secretive Abrams can be, I wouldn’t be looking for much more news any time soon, but we’ll keep our ears to the ground for you. We’re good like that.
Super 8 tells the tale of bunch of kids who are shooting a movie with a Super 8 camera that notice upon viewing their footage that they’ve captured what appears to be an alien on film.
