It sounds as if things are finally in the process of ironing themselves out over at The Weinstein Company, which is no doubt hoping for some big bank this weekend with Piranha 3D (review here). Their sequel wheel is once again looking to start churning, and more details on two of their latest horror projects have come to light.
Bloody-Disgusting nailed down a few more details on both Children of the Corn: The Dweller and the recently announced Hellraiser: Revelations.
According to the site a new Children of the Corn is in the works entitled Children of the Corn: The Dweller. Joel Soisson is set to direct from his own screenplay. Shooting is scheduled to begin this September is Los Angeles.
But wait … there’s more!
BD also states that shooting is already scheduled to begin on Hellraiser: Revelations this September. “It is in fact a sequel, and not the long-gestured 3D remake (which could very well still happen). Dimension Films is behind it. It’s a small budget film that’s said to be going ‘balls to the wall’.”
So does that mean Doug Bradley will be returning? We can only hope. More soon.
