Case 39 Finally Being Opened

We’ve been reporting on Paramount’s Case 39 so long now that we think the film’s child star Jodelle Ferland is probably an adult already! After around three years of dealing with false starts, clips, trailers, and Renee Zellweger’s seemingly frozen face, we finally have a firm release date.
Paramount announced today that they have locked down an October 1st, 2010 release date for the Christian Alvart (Pandorum) directed thriller.
In Case 39 Ian McShane plays a police officer who helps Zellweger’s character figure out the truth when she saves a girl from what she believes is an abusive home life only to discover that things are not quite as clear as they first seem. Evil may have something to do with it … obviously, or we wouldn’t mention it.
