Two Very Familiar Faces to Pop Up in Joe Lynch’s Knights of Badassdom – Larry Zerner and Brian Posehn

Few movies have us more excited than we are for Joe Lynch’s next slice of sick, Knights of Badassdom. I mean the title alone is a seller, is it not? Well, the pot just got a little bit sweeter thanks to a couple of cameos that have come to light.
Twitter has been a hotbed of news lately, and thanks to it we’ve learned that genre staple Brian Posehn (follow @thebrianposehn) and Larry Zerner, better known as the man who’s responsible for Jason donning the hockey mask in Friday the 13th Part 3, have both signed on for what will no doubt be some bloody shenanigans!
The Knights of Badassdom stars Summer Glau, Peter Dinklage, Ryan Kwanten, Steve Zahn, Douglas Tait, and Danny Pudi. The flick follows the exploits of a group of LARPers (Live Action Role Players) who accidentally release a big badass demon.
Spectral Motion, who created creatures and mutants for the Hellboy and X-Men franchises, are handling the special effects duty so expect a lot from the plethora of demonic minions that are set to be unleashed.
Lynch is shooting from a script penned by Kevin Dreyfuss and Matt Wall in Spokane, Washington.

Synopsis
After being dumped by his sexy girlfriend Beth, Joe (Kwanten) reluctantly decides to join Eric (Zahn) and his LARPing (Live Action Role Players) friends in the woods rather than stay behind and feel sorry for his newly single status. There he meets hot, ass-kicking, intimidating LARPer Gwen (Glau) and finds himself plunged into a surreal adventure wilder than he ever imagined when a make-believe wizard casts an all-too-real spell from an ancient book. That spell releases an actual demon with a taste for human blood — and souls — that starts systematically decimating the players in this suddenly deadly “game.” Will our guys become the heroes they have been pretending to be before time runs out?
