And the William Sanders helmed envisioning of a plotline from John Carpenter’s Halloween continues to take shape as one of the first stars of the franchise returns to the town adjacent to Haddonfield. We’ve got the first bit of casting news for Last Supper: The Russellville Hacksaw Murders hot off the grill and waiting for you along with some early concept art.

During an interview on the Edcrophilia Blog Talk Radio Show, the original Tommy Doyle, Brian Andrews, revealed that he has been cast to play realty agent John Delahunty in the film that focuses on what is basically throw-away dialogue from John Carpenter’s Halloween. In the film Dr. Loomis goes to a cemetery in search of Judith Myers’ grave. While in search of the grave marker, the graveyard keeper tells Dr. Loomis a story about Charlie Bowles, but in the middle of his story he is interrupted by Loomis about Michael Myers, and Carpenter’s story of Halloween continues from there.

For reference the dialogue is as follows: “Every town has something like this happen. I remember a guy over in Russellville. Charlie Bowles. About fifteen year ago he finished dinner, excused himself from the table, went out into the garage and got a hacksaw, then came back into the house, kissed his wife and two children goodbye, and then proceeded to …”

Proceeded to what, right? We’ll find out soon enough thanks to Sanders and company. Speaking of which, the film is now casting for extras. Visit here and here for details.
