When you ask anyone to name their favorite part of Call of Duty: World at War, nine times out of ten you’ll hear “killing Nazi zombies“. Hell, even Forgetting Sarah Marshall star Mila Kunis told me that last year during a press junket interview … EVERYBODY loves killing zombies, and Nazi zombies make it even better!
Well, guess what, soldiers?! You’ll be getting to kill Nazi zombies all over AGAIN! Last Friday, August 13th, Josh Olin, Treyarch’s Community Manager, confirmed that Nazi zombies will again invade your universe as “callback co-op levels” in the special editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Olin shared through his Twitter (follow @JD_2020) that the “Hardened” and “Prestige” editions of Black Ops will include all four of the existing maps in World at War BUT kept mum about whether owners of the standard edition would be able to acquire this content via paid DLC.
I would HOPE the answer will be “Sir, yes Sir!“, but you NEVER know.
Call of Duty: Black Ops hits the ground running this November 9th, 2010, which I am SUPER STOKED about but can’t help but wonder: Will this news make owners of CoD: WaW shell out the extra cash for the Hardened ($79.99) or Prestige ($149.99 which includes the RC-XD Video Surveillance Vehicle) editions or simply buy the standard ($59.99) and pop in WaW when they wanna pretend they’re Inglourious Basterds?
I will be doing a bit of recon myself, and when I know, you’ll know.
