The Bye Bye Man Gets New Trailer, Stills, and Release Date

From the producer of The Strangers and Oculus comes The Bye Bye Man, which hopes to introduce a brand new horror icon. The STX Entertainment film has had several release dates these last few months, most recently scheduled to hit theaters on December 9th, but it’s now been bumped to January 13th, 2017.

Along with the new date come a new trailer plus a few stills. Check them out below!

Michael Trucco stars with Douglas Smith, Cressida Bonas, Lucien Laviscount, Doug Jones, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Faye Dunaway.

Stacy Title directed from Jonathan Penner’s script, based on Robert Damon Schneck’s short story “The Bridge to Body Island.” Trevor Macy produced for Intrepid, and Jeffrey Soros and Simon Horsman produced for Los Angeles Media Fund.

Synopsis:
When three college students move into an old house off campus, they unwittingly unleash a supernatural entity known as The Bye Bye Man, who comes to prey upon them once they discover his name. The friends must try to save each other, all the while keeping The Bye Bye Man’s existence a secret to save others from the same deadly fate.
