Not a slasher film about a killer janitor as its name would suggest, The Caretaker is actually about a young woman who begins to uncover sinister secrets about her family’s past. Check out the synopsis below ahead of its September 30 release on VOD.

Level 33 Entertainment has announced that festival award-winning indie horror film THE CARETAKER from Blue Fox Entertainment will be released On Demand in the U.S. on Friday, September 30, 2016, across all platforms including Comcast Xfinity, iTunes, DirecTV, Amazon Instant, Dish Network, VUDU, and others.
Written by Jeremy Robinson and directed by Jeff Prugh, THE CARETAKER stars Meegan Warner (THE VEIL, AMC’s “TURN: Washington Spies”), and Sondra Blake (MAX DUGAN RETURNS). The film was an official selection at Indie Horror Film Festival, where it won three awards, including the Director’s Choice award, and at the Fantastic Film Horror Film Festival. THE CARETAKER was also an official selection at FilmQuest, HellaCon, Gasparilla, and the Fantastic Horror film festivals.
In THE CARETAKER a young woman returns home to care for her gravely ill grandmother only to begin sleepwalking, envisioning spirits, and uncovering dark secrets in her family’s past.
