Posters from Halo-8’s Godkiller Spinoff Series Adventures in Outer City & Exclusive Clip from Walk Among Us

During Halo-8 Entertainment’s Saturday night panel “Illustrated Films & Comics” at the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con, writer/director Matt Pizzolo made the announcement that breakout hit comic book and illustrated film Godkiller is making the leap to franchise status with the production of a spin-off series, Godkiller: Adventures in Outer City.

Godkiller Adventures will be more of a fun, episodic, adventure series about our lovable anti-heroines and their adventures as hookers who moonlight as organ stealers so they can buy back their freedom from a crazy post-nuke pimp,” explained Pizzolo. “This will be a fun series to do while we’re working on the next installment of the full-length illustrated-film series…it’ll be short and twisted adventures.” Best of all? Actresses Danielle Harris and Tiffany Shepis will return to voice their characters Halfpipe and Angelfuck, respectively, and illustrator Anna Muckcracker will return to illustrate the series.

Godkiller: Adventures in Outer City is set to debut as a print and digital comic and as an illustrated film series online, on VOD, and on episodic DVDs later this year. Showcasing the lighter tone of the series, Pizzolo unveiled two new posters during the panel: one mocking up Stanley Kubrick’s Lolita and one mocking up Brian De Palma’s Scarface. Dig on them below.

Nice homage to Scarface and Lolita there. This story and concept has a ton of punk rock backround refrences throughout, like the whold Misfits “walk Among us” and the character name “Angelfuck”, etc. I love that Lydia Lunch is doing voice work for this motion comic as well, very cool.
