San Diego Comic-Con saw the first ever bit of footage from Scott Stewart’s long awaited flick, Priest, and we have the goods for you right here. Dig it!
Priest is an adaptation of a TokyoPop comic book that is set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampire. Bettany plays a warrior priest who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece. It’s undergoing a 2D to 3D conversion as we speak.
Look for more on Scott Stewart’s Priest starring Bettany, Cam Gigandet (The Unborn, Pandorum, The Roommate, Twilight), Madchen Amick, Stephen Moyer (“True Blood”), Maggie Q., Christopher Plummer, Brad Dourif, and Alan Dale hopefully soon.
Priest will be in theatres on May 13th, 2011.
