I know you’ve all cancelled whatever weekend plans you have to gather around the tube on Saturday night at 9pm to catch the SciFi Channel premiere of Lake Placid 2 (which we last told you about here). Ever since hearing about the sequel, my life hasn’t been the same; there’s a feeling of anticipation in the air that will only culminate when the final credits roll. You can feel it all around you: This film is going to change things!
All right, maybe not, but it’s still another movie about big crocodiles. Three of them this time! If you’re curious to learn more about it before it airs on Saturday, we just got a heads up that the film’s director, David (Boa Vs. Python) Flores was on the most recent Your Video Store Shelf podcast, which you can click here to listen to.
Of course be on the lookout for our review of the sequel shortly after it airs since The Foywonder really is a guy who’d cancel his plans to be sure to catch it. That’s just how dedicated he is to this job, folks.
