American Horror Story ?6: Another Teaser, More Artwork, and a Contest to Guess the Theme

With “American Horror Story” Season 6 kicking off soon, the hype machine for the show has been in overdrive with teasers and artwork coming in on an almost daily basis. Think you’ve figured out what the upcoming season is about? Then you’ll want to read on for the details of a contest recently launched by FX, in which a new Mercedes-Benz is being given away along with several “AHS”-themed items.
Before we got to the contest details, here’s the latest teaser, which aims to teach you a lesson, plus some pretty cool new promo art.
“Guess the Theme” Contest Details:
FX Networks has kicked off the “American Horror Story” ?6 Sweeps, the ultimate sweepstakes challenging “American Horror Story” (“AHS”) fans to guess the theme of this year’s season. For the first time in the history of the show, the theme for the iconic series will be kept under wraps until the premiere episode airs on September 14.
“The new ‘AHS’ teaser campaign has fans anxiously awaiting the premiere and the reveal of this season’s theme,” says Kenya Hardaway, VP of Integrated Promotions. “With this sweepstakes, we are giving fans an opportunity to tackle the mystery and make their selection for the chance to win the ultimate prize package.”
Official releases by FX have teased and tantalized the show’s enthusiastic fan base with clues to the “AHS” ?6 theme; now FX will ask series devotees to unravel their secret. To participate in the sweepstakes, head to ahs6sweeps.com, where each submitting fan will be asked to view six video teasers and choose which one best represents a theme from the premiere episode. Registered fans that choose the correct video will automatically be entered into a drawing for a chance to win the grand prize: an all-new 2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupe including an “AHS” car kit that will feature, among other items, custom floor mats designed with materials from the “AHS: Hotel” set, one-of-a-kind key chain, first aid kit, and more, plus a trip for two to Los Angeles for a VIP visit to the “AHS” set. The correct teaser and grand prize winner will be revealed during the “American Horror Story” ?6 premiere episode.

“American Horror Story” kicks off its sixth chapter on FX on Wednesday, September 14, at 10 PM ET/PT.
The returning stars for Season 6 are expected to include Kathy Bates, Denis O’Hare, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley, Lady Gaga, Leslie Jordan, and Matt Bomer. Cuba Gooding, Jr., is rumored to be on-set as well.
