We’ve just got word of another horror flick from Down Under, and it sure sounds like a doozy. Lead Me Astray comes from director Tom Danger and serves as a homage to classic genre flicks from the ’70s and ’80s, with a young student’s past returning to haunt him. Jace Pickard, Alannah Robertson, and Tim Page star.
Synopsis:
‘Lead Me Astray’ is a 2015 independent Australian feature film written and directed by Tom Danger. Produced on a budget of less than $10,000, ‘Lead Me Astray’ takes its cues from the atmosphere-heavy and synth-driven films of the 1970’s and 80’s such as John Carpenter’s Assault on Precinct 13 and Dario Argento’s Suspiria. The film follows a young veterinary student, Alexis Willard, as a single act of violence causes his life to come crashing down around him, putting the one person he loves in unspeakable danger as his mysterious past claws its way back into his present.
Starring Jace Pickard, Alannah Robertson, Tim Page, Addi Craig and Logan Webster. With a special appearance by Winters End.
