The Power of Christ Compels You to Look at The Exorcist-Spoofing Boo! A Madea Halloween Poster

default-featured-image

Admittedly, this The Exorcist-inspired parody poster for Boo! A Madea Halloween is not quite as clever as the Michael Myers-themed poster from a few weeks back, but you have to admire how all-out they’re willing to go for this Tyler Perry flick.

If you haven’t already marked your calendar for October 21st, then I have to wonder: What are you waiting for? It’s not like you’re going to have that many options this Halloween season so why not use the opportunity to get right with Jesus while having your funny bone terrorized by Tyler Perry’s Madea?

The newest poster for Boo! pokes fun at one of the most iconic images in the history of horror cinema by casting Perry’s alter ego in the role of The Exorcist. Or as the poster calls itself, The Exorsister, which I believe is also the title of a Japanese live-action tentacle rape movie from a while back; perhaps soon to be addressed if Tyler Perry ever makes his Asian religious hentai flick Demon City Madea. You just know that poster would be an Akira parody.

Boo! A Madea Halloween stars Tyler Perry, Cassi Davis, Patrice Lovely, Lexy Panterra, Yousef Erakat, Andre Hall, Brock O’Hurn, and Bella Thorne, who just made headlines today for announcing she’s bisexual. You better believe Madea’s gonna have some words for that girl!

Synopsis:
In Boo! A Madea Halloween, Madea winds up in the middle of mayhem when she spends a hilarious, haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls, and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens.
