More meat for the beast that is Ghostface, as bodies are coming and going at a truly frantic pace in terms of who’s in and who’s out in Wes Craven’s Scream 4.
According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision Blog as well as Variety, Mary McDonnell (“Battlestar Galactica”, Donnie Darko) and Alison Brie (pictured below) have joined the cast of Dimension Films’ Scream 4, which is currently lensing in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Things are still quiet on McDonnell’s character, but Brie (best known as Trudy Campbell on “Mad Men”) is playing Rebecca, Neve Campbell’s ambitious personal assistant who secretly envies her boss’ reluctant fame and fortune.
The two join previous survivors Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox, as well as fresh meat Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, Adam Brody, Marley Shelton and Erik Knudsen in Wes Craven’s return to the stab-happy franchise.
Look for the film in theatres on April 15th, 2011.
