Red Riding Hood Comes Early

Red Riding Hood Comes EarlyWarner Brothers announced today that Catherine Hardwicke’s Red Riding Hood is going to be hitting theatres a month earlier on March 11, 2011, so all those prospective wolves out there had better brush up on their grandma acts!

Red Riding Hood, written by David Johnson (Orphan), and starring Amanda Seyfried, Shiloh Fernandez, Max Irons, Michael Hogan, Julie Christie, Lukas Hass, and Gary Oldman, is a retelling of the old Red Riding Hood bedtime story that we can only hope comes sans any sparkling entities and/or underwearwolves. Oh, who are we kidding? We know that they will be there. Either way, we’ll be watching and hoping for the best.

The original fairy tales by The Brothers Grimm were deliciously dark so keep your fingers crossed that at least some of that content makes it in.
