I’m all for keeping old games alive, but this remaster craze, man. It seems to be a thing nowadays that every game ever needs to be remastered at some point. The latest series to get the treatment? Dead Rising.
Ahead of the release of the fourth game in Capcom’s zombie series on December 6, Dead Rising 1 and 2, in addition to the Off the Record version of 2, will be reissued in new remastered editions. Polish studio QLOC will be handling the update of the first game, whilst Mercenary Technology will handle both versions of the second.
All three games will be released as part of the Dead Rising: Triple Pack on September 13 on Xbox One, with PS4 and PC releases also being expected.
Have a look some screenshots for the remastered editions below and let us know in the comments if you think they look like significant improvements from the original versions of the games.
