Exclusive Art and Trailer Premiere: The Tomb

Curious about the films playing as part of the Fangoria FrightFest? Well, dig in, kids, because we’ve got the exclusive artwork and the trailer premiere for one of its entries – The Tomb.

The Fangoria FrightFest is a partnership with Lightning Media to distribute independent horror films via DVD, Video on Demand and Digital Download. In addition to The Tomb they’ll be bringing us some wicked titles such as Pig Hunt, Fragile, Grimm Love, Dark House, Hunger, Road Kill, and The Haunting.

If you stop by the official FrightFest site, you’ll have the opportunity to check out some extra material pertaining to the flicks while casting a vote for your favorite film. The winning flick will then go on to receive a big-screen theatrical release in July!

Synopsis
“THE TOMB (a.k.a. LIGEIA): In Michael Staininger’s updated adaptation of the classic Edgar Allan Poe tale “The Tomb of Ligeia,” Wes Bentley (DOLAN’S CADILLAC, AMERICAN BEAUTY, GHOST RIDER) is Jonathan, a celebrated scholar and author who falls under the spell of the devastatingly beautiful and enchanting Ligeia—a spell that may lead to his ruin (à la Vincent Price in the original 1964 Roger Corman adaptation). Produced by THE CROW’s Jeff Most and co-starring THE DARK KNIGHT’s Eric Roberts and KILL BILL’s Michael Madsen.”

COOL!!! I fondly remember how fun yet at times unnerving the early 90’s horror films were
and it’s always a shame mr.creepy when the subject of 90’s horror movies come up and all horror fans think of is scream…..there was ALOT of good but forgotten horror movies that came out in the 90’s that were not like scream what so ever

I just watched Dark House the other night. Had a really good time with it. The movie reminded me of like late Eighties early Nineties fun horror stuff! It’s just a cool ride you know?
