Often horror fans dive into a video game made for their genre expecting flickering lights, pouncing monsters, gratuitous red stuff splattered across the landscape and a series of options for violently dispatching anything you come across. Limbo does things a bit differently.
Instead of the usual fare Playdead Studios has embraced the deep shadows and chilling atmosphere of our classic silver screen gems to create a thoroughly unique puzzle-platforming adventure.
In Limbo you control a young boy who braves a cold, hostile world to discover the fate of his sister. We’re sure said fate isn’t exactly a happy one either
Limbo will be part of the XBLA “Summer of Arcade”, running for five weeks starting in July for 1,200 points. The other games are Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Lara Croft and the Guardian of the Light, and Monday Night Combat.
