Just days ago we introduced you to the first beyond red band trailer for Tim Sullivan’s 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams. Turns out it was the wrong version. Pull down your shades and turn up your sound!
Here’s a quick note from Tim explaining:
“Earlier this week, I sent out a note along with what I called the super exclusive “not safe for work” 2001 MANIACS: FIELD OF SCREAMS BEYOND RED BAND TRAILER that I cut with my editors Adam Robitel and Dan Flesher for the Big Bear Horror Film Festival back in October.
Yup, this was meant to be the “trailer the studio didn’t want you to see” with all the GORE, NUDITY and POLITICALLY INCORRECT HUMOR that this film is getting both applauded and crucified for! At the bottom of the note I attached a link- and guess what?
IT WAS THE WRONG FUCKING LINK!
Yup- instead of the FULL Beyond unrated trailer- I sent a rough cut of something Adam and I just did for ourselves.
The good news is- you got to see a whole crazy scene with Lin Shaye you were not meant to-
AND NOW YOU GET TO SEE ALL THE SICK SHIT YOU WERE ACTUALLY SUPPOSED TO SEE!

The flick stars Bill Moseley, Lin Shaye, Nivek Ogre, Courtney Peldon, Ashley Peldon, Adam Robitel, Ahmed Best, Trevor Wright, Andrea Leon, Ryan Fleming, Dylan Edrington, Christa Campbell, Amy Baniecki, and Tony Todd. Look for the DVD and the Blu-ray on July 20th from First Look Studios. The film’s soundtrack, a perfect companion, will be available the very same day.
Synopsis
When this year’s round of unsuspecting Northerners fail to show up for their annual Guts ‘N Glory Jamboree, the residents of Pleasant Valley take their cannibalistic carnival on the road and head to Iowa, where they encounter spoiled heiresses Rome and Tina Sheraton and the cast and crew of their “Road Rascals” reality show. Performing “The Bloodiest Show on Earth”, our Southern Maniacs prove more than ratings killers in what John Landis has called “one of the rare sequels that surpasses the original”.
