Jonathan Liebesman in the Running for Clash of the Titans SequelOkay, so the The Clash of the Titans remake was about as flaccid as a newly castrated eunuch, full of wooden performances, nonsensical fight scenes, and a plot thinner than tracing paper. Certainly they can do better with a sequel, right?

According to the LA Times the man in the lead to take the reins on the upcoming Clash sequel who will hopefully make things right again is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning director Jonathan Liebesman (pictured right).

The flick is supposed to start shooting in early 2011 so as not to conflict with star Sam Worthington’s schedule as he is obliged to do a sequel for that little movie called Avatar. No word yet on whether or not this second installment will be in 3D, but if it is, let’s hope everyone does the right thing by actually shooting it in 3D this time.

More soon.
