Fantasy meets reality in The 9th Life of Louis Drax, the latest film from modern horror master Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes, Piranha 3D, Horns). While we wait for it to hit theaters on September 2nd, the official one-sheet has arrived, and it teases the mystery we will soon be jumping headlong into. Check it out!
The film stars Jamie Dornan, Aaron Paul, Sarah Gadon, Oliver Platt, Molly Parker, Barbara Hershey, and Aiden Longworth.
Based on Liz Jensen’s best-selling novel of the same title, the screenplay was written by Max Minghella.
Synopsis:
The 9th Life of Louis Drax begins on Louis Drax’s 9th birthday, when he miraculously survives a near fatal fall. His doctor, Allan Pascal (Dornan), finds himself tangled between his professional responsibility and his growing affections for the boy’s mother (Gadon), a fragile young beauty. When Louis’ father (Paul) comes under suspicion, Pascal realizes other mysterious forces may be at work.
