Michael Keaton REALLY Interested in Resurrecting Beetlejuice for a Sequel

Just a couple of months after actress Geena Davis expressed her interest in a Beetlejuice sequel and wondered if ghosts age, comes a bit more chatter … this time from the ghost with the most himself!

During the Toy Story 3 junket MovieHole.net caught up with actor Michael Keaton to gauge his interest in returning to the role of his paranormal counterpart, and Keaton seemed really hot on the idea telling the site when asked if he’d do it “Absolutely, that’s the one thing I’d love to do again.”

So there you have it, kids. Genuine interest or fan lip-service. We’re thinking it could very well be a bit of both. Then again, at the rate we’re going we seem more likely to get this rather than Ghostbusters 3.

Stay tuned.

    I never liked this one.

I agree with LifeMi, I loved Beetlejuice too, But it’s a bit too late for a sequel

  • LifeMi

I love Beetlejuice, but I think it’s been too long to do a sequel, unless it’s totally different from the first one. Keaton’s a great actor, so regardless of whether or not this gets made I hope he starts getting back to leading roles soon.

Tim Burton is regurgitating everything lately, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they got together and made an unnecessary sequel.
