George A. Romero’s APP of the DEAD Available Now for iPhone and iPad

We’ve been talking about George A. Romero’s new photo zombie maker The APP of the DEAD for a few weeks now, and finally it is available on iTunes for purchase! To celebrate its release, I decided to screw around with it for a bit, and you know what? I’m pretty impressed! Check it out!

Basically what the app does is allow you to take a regular photo and than transform said photo into a Romero inspired zombie. There are already quite a few zombie photo makers available to the public, but what sets this one apart is the quality of the pieces you can place over the photos, some of which were used in Romero’s actual films. When done, you can even shoot said zombie in the head! At just $1.99 we give this one the extreme thumbs-up! Definitely cool for fans!
