John Fallon (in back) with director Eric RedAs if Famke Janssen and Michael Pare weren’t enough, Eric Red just officially made sure that his return to directing, 100 Feet (last update here), will be a blockbuster.

How did he assure the film’s overall success? He simply gave a role to John Fallon or, as he’s better known to you and me, Arrow from Arrow in the Head! Note to all filmmakers out there; the ladies love the Fallon, so no matter how harsh or hardcore your movie might be, you can pretty much bet a good portion of your audience will be female if you put him on-screen.

Eric Red discussed John’s role. “The character John plays is Jimmy, the Department Of Correction police technician who puts the electronic ankle bracelet on Famke Janssen’s character Marnie and tells her how it works,” he told AITH. “Jimmy is a tough but sympathetic Internet type cop guy who introduces the heroine to her home prison in the beginning. John’s perfect casting and is going to be great. He’s already done his homework and spent time with police in the house arrest division for research on authenticity. Plus, on a personal note, it’s a neat evolution of a long friendship having him be in one of my pictures, and it’s going to be a lot of fun working together!”

Look out Famke! 100 Feet gets rolling in Hungary in a few weeks, so expect the ladies’ man to be regaling us with stories of on-set romances in no time!
