SaintSinner Entertainment is having a busy spring. In addition to celebrating the premiere of The Quiet Ones on June 6th at the Hoboken Film Fest, the company is currently filming The Sickness throughout Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.
The film is being directed by Brandon E. Brooks and produced by SaintSinner Entertainment, which consists of Brooks, Amel J. Figueroa (director of the aforementioned The Quiet Ones, and Fallon Maressa. It stars Laura Lynn Cottrel (The Replacements), Gary Gustin (The Gift), Matt Kent (“General Hospital”), Fallon Maressa (The Lovely Bones), Damien Colletti (Bloodbath in the House of Knives), first-time actress Janet Searfoss, Dennis Ronin (Murder Below the Line), Lamar Bumbrey (A Dangerous Place), Tom Detrik (Booley), and Anthony Marks (Blood Night) along with indie horror scream queens Raine Brown (100 Tears), Ruby Larocca (Shadow: Dead Riot), and Suzi Lorraine (Methodic).
The Sickness, described by Brooks as “a tale in the vein of The Crazies“, is about a small group of individuals that must face insanity all around them when numerous people in their part of the world suddenly become “sick”, which causes them to go insane and become bloodthirsty.
