The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – The Score Cover Art

Composer Howard Shore is best known for the scores for The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, for which he won three Academy Awards, but come June 29th he’ll no doubt be always and forever linked with The Twilight Saga as that’s the day Eclipse – The Score will hit store shelves everywhere.

We’ve now got a look at the cover art for the score, which is being released by E1 Music. Not sure why they’re releasing the soundtrack so much earlier (on June 8th), but in any event fans will still have one day to familiarize themselves with the music prior to the film’s release on June 30th.

In David Slade’s Eclipse Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Actually he’ll likely be remembered for his work with Cronenberg.

20 years from now Twilight will be an embarasing memory for the legions of tweens who grow up and realize it was crap.
