Producers Frank Merle (writer/director of The Employer) and Hunter Johnson (creator of LAHorror.com) and executive producers James Cullen Bressack (over 40 producing credits, including Bethany and Restoration) and Warren Croyle (Sector 5 Films) have completed filming and entered post-production on #FromJennifer, the third installment in the Jennifer franchise, which follows To Jennifer (directed by Bressack) and its sequel, 2 Jennifer (directed by Johnson). #FromJennifer is written and directed by Merle.
#FromJennifer follows a struggling actress named Jennifer as she tries to navigate the high-pressure world of social media stardom. When she gets dropped by her manager for not having a big enough social media following, Jennifer loses her grip on reality and sets out on a bizarre revenge plan, designed to be filmed and posted online in a desperate bid for Internet fame.
#FromJennifer is a spiritual sequel to To Jennifer and 2 Jennifer, featuring a standalone plot and characters, but connected to its predecessors through the theme of obsession and its found-footage aesthetic. #FromJennifer was shot entirely on GoPro cameras.
The ensemble cast of #FromJennifer includes Derek Mears (Friday the 13th, Predators), Aaron Abrams (“Hannibal,” “Blindspot”), Meghan Deanna Smith (Sharknado: Heart of Sharkness), Trae Ireland (13/13/13), and newcomer Danielle Taddei as Jennifer.
